Exercising doesn't make me feel any better

I started going running about 2 months ago and from what I've heard from other people, I expected to feel so much better after starting it. I expected to feel healthier, feel more energised, sleep better, have more self-esteem, be less depressed, have a better outlook on life, etc. But I don't feel any of that. I also don't enjoy it at all or feel any endorphines while doing it or just after doing it. I can't stand it, the only good feeling I get afterwards is knowing that it's over for the day. Some claim running is like a drug to them, are they all just bullshitting or am I the exception here?

Why not try a different sport that you enjoy more? I used to run and it didn't help my mood/stress as much as hiking in the woods or climbing at a gym does.

You just got to find your thing. I hate running. I tried, but it sucks. I enjoy walking my dog and gardening. Maybe you need to kayak. Or perhaps pottery or knitting. Usually some hobby will help you feel content. You just have to find it.

I'm 99% positive those saying "Exercising feels great" are lying (unless they're masochists), the aftermath of exercising (like being healthy) might feel great but not the act itself.

I've been doing combat sports since my late teens, exercising is a must & I hate every second of it.

That probably won't help much, but I, having not had a stable job, always felt much better when working with people every day. Gym didn't help, as it was just not for me.
The point is, there should be something to not let you think about your problems all the time. I don't know how to find this thing, really.

Running definitely helps my energy levels. Before I start running alot I usually like to go to a gym for a few weeks and do squats to build my body up just alittle. If im super out of shape and go straight to running it sucks sooooa abad

I enjoy lifting weights because it's kinda like meditation. Focusing all your attention on one thing clears your mind of all the other bullshit.
Maybe running just doesn't take enough focus and you should try something else as well or instead.
