Expelled for no good reason.

My friend is a American Chinese mix whose American mom enrolled her into a all-girls Chinese school which turned co-ed. However, my friend’s class was one of the few classes that have no boys in it. The school is private and pretty high-standard.
Just a week ago, she told me that she was kicked out of the school by the principal due to her ‘inappropriate behavior’. I think it’s stupid. My friend wasn’t the brightest person but she was lucky enough to be accepted into that oh-so-awesome school.
Why did my friend get kicked out? Well, there was a certain standard you have to maintain and your grades must be above this limit, my friend’s grades passed just right above this limit but the principal used the excuse of my friend’s impeccable attendance. My friend had a right to not attend classes, because these ‘classes’ weren’t actual classes, they were actually lectures.
My friend had a test, a computer test and it was something to do with MS Publisher, everyone else in her class was stupid enough to not know how to use it. My friend finished her report or whatever earlier than the rest and just waited patiently like a true good student. The computer teacher had to get out for something, and during the time he was out, everyone else started cheating, opening their textbooks or whatever, they CHEATED. My friend’s best friend, begged my friend to teach her how to use MS Publisher, in the end letting her copy and paste everything, without change.
When the results came, the computer teacher called out the three girls who’ve ‘cheated’; my friend, her best friend and some other girl. Apparently, all three of them had the highest score and they were all the same. My friend’s best friend told the teacher that she copied EVERYTHING from my friend and my friend didn’t deserve to be punished. But the stupid ass of a computer teacher punished them anyway. He made them come for lectures after school every single day for the rest of the school year, his lectures on how bad kids the girls are to their parents and all those moral value stuff.
My friend couldn’t take it so she stopped going for the ‘classes’. The principal took this as one point to kick her out. Another point which is this: My friend’s the troublemaker. Troublemaker, my ass.
I did remember my friend calling out her dad to complain to the headmistress about something (a legitimate reason for all I know) but the principal took it as making trouble.
What’s worse is that some of the students that did not satisfy the requirements of getting grades of certain point (actually way lower), were given a chance to stay in the school. How unfair is this? My friend is quirky, fun-loving and outspoken yet she’s boycotted and bullied (though sometimes indirectly) by those bitch of a **** students. My friend was definitely one tough cookie. I think it’s definitely NOT NORMAL for the evil bitch of a principal to expel her.
What's your take on this? Normal or not?

  • its cus its private school and all the school cares about is getting money and making themselves look good. So they would kick your friend out first chance they could if she didn't fit in with the other "cheating bitches" in her class

Helping someone cheat by providing answers is itself cheating so yes, your friend was just as culpable. Live and learn, I got into the same pickle when I was in school. The school you describe sounds very tightly controlled and conformist. That works for some people but not others. Perhaps this is a blessing in disguise and your friend (who seems to chafe at this kind of environment) will find themselves in a place better suited to the kind of person they are and want to be.

I believe everyone deserves a second chance. If she only had cheated on this one test then she should of only been put on probation. Giving some one the answer for a test makes you just as guilty as taking them.

I say normal only because I don't trust school systems. I remember getting into it once with a teacher in high school and I was an A student. You know with some one with my kind of job (I have many bosses in my line of work) I've learned that some people abuse there power and mistreat others as long as they can keep it with in the guide lines. Like your friend. Theres nothing that can be done but to learn from it.

She definitely deserved it. You both are just stupid children who's brain haven't developed enough to understand these things. That's why it seems so out of order to you.
