Expensive being a woman

Yeah all those corporate-driven fashion and make-up standards are one thing I really don't like about being a woman. Women really need to start resisting all that and living more naturally. Not only does it make them feel like shit about themselves in the long run, but it's just so shallow and tacky. All that time and money spent trying to improve your physical appearance could be spent on growing as a person through educating yourself, improving your health, or just having fun. Yeah you won't win the respect of people who care about looks, but life's too short to give a fuck about what those kind of people think anyway. Plus then you could find people who like you for who you are as a person instead.

I have sisters who live this lifestyle, it’s a combination of loans, our parents money, their boyfriends’ money and their side guys’ money. In fact I don’t think I can personally name a single woman who lives this lifestyle and funds it independently (not that I know that many, in fairness).

Focus on your finances not others peoples’, sometimes it’s the people who seem to be flashing their money the most who really have the least.

I like to look good and wear make up daily and always like to dress nicely. But I don’t obsess over it. I often buy cheaper brands of makeup and regularly buy clothes in the sales. When I wear underwear I do like it to be expensive and sexy, but I don’t wear it all that often, especially in the warm weather so I guess I save some money there. Overall though I have a good income and can afford to spend more than I actually do, but I would never spend money I don’t have on fashion.

Some women feel more pressured to be the way women are "meant" to be.

It's not for everyone. It'd be better if it's what they do because they want to (and I think that is the case for many). And the rest of us...well...personally, I'm too lazy to remember to moisturise let alone all that extra shit.

Their treatments and clothing/handbags pale in comparison to the cost of my hobbies

Being a woman is inevitably more expensive than being a man. Combine that with the fact that they also earn less money.

It definitely can be. Some of the women in my life (and I also mean friends and family) have spent a lot on it. Some didn't.

I think it's fine if they want to. I would find it sad if a woman who already didn't want to even do all that was also feeling a financial burden from it.

I'm a guy with 3 sisters, numerous past lady-friends, and a wife.

Here are the lessons I have learned:

1) Really good shampoo and conditioner from certain companies in not expensive (and works far better than the cheapest stuff in most stores).

2) High quality Cosmetics and Skin care can be very worthwhile, and there is at least one high quality brand where the products last a very long time so that the cost per use is reasonable (a little goes a long way).

3) High quality braziers are worth paying for. They last so much longer and stay looking nice. Note: Perhaps I'm a strange guy - but I believe its my responsibility to make sure that my "lady friends" and now my wife have nice decent bras and underthings to wear, which includes basic plane work bras and panties for certain manual labor jobs as not every activity is dress up or sexy.

I also enjoy taking them shopping ;) and they have never objected to my being their complete supplier for all of those they need in life when we are together.

- I don't use contour
- I don't use applier
- I don't use concealer
- I don't use beauty blender
- I don't use fake eyelash and nail extensions
Instead
- I use blush
- I use eyeshadow
- I use lipstick
- I breakout in acne
- I play video games
- I'm more masculine

All these facts and I'm male..... jk I'm female

I buy expensive shampoo, conditioner and face cream. I have expensive hair appointments once every 8 weeks. I don't buy much else because I keep it simple.

I can afford it because my husband and I both earn lots of money. There isn't really any secret to it.

Alright ladies, here's the solution:
Coconut oil
Charcoal
Tea tree oil
Vinegar

shampoo- idk just vinegar and water or something
conditioner- coconut oil, you can also cook with this too, leave in and rinse out

makeup-
Eyliner- not really a necessity but charcoal can be whittled into eyeliner, make sure to moisten first with either saliva or water
Lip balm- coconut oil
Highlighter- coconut oil

face wash- tea tree oil with water, steam ya face
moisturiser- coconut oil, you can also cook with it

clothes- thrifted clothes or learning to make stuff from fabric scraps can work. Often people you know have old clothes- just don't ask from the same person

deodorant- drink around three cups of green tea daily AT LEAST and suck the bag dry each time for extra goodness (It makes your sweat smell earthy and minty if you consume large quantities), other than that, you can dab at your pits with water

for hair dye- chamomile tea to lighten, and coffee to darken. There can be free coffee and chamomile samples in bed and breakfasts

Trying to buy a new truck and I'm willing to wait months to find a good 4door truck around 7k so I can just buy it with cash. She keeps sending me trucks she found on craigslist for like 10k. Im like no dude eventually we will find a great deal just wait. She always wants such nice things and doesnt care about saving money. If it was up to me id buy a 2 door truck for $2500 theyre out there.

It's stupid spending so much on beauty products and I even think a good portion is placebo. Like what is really the difference between a cheap and expensive shampoo in actual results? And either way what do you get back for it? Maybe its like a legit interest/hobby for some people but I personally don't get it.

I was told some women spend more on clothing every month than I earn in total every month, that's just crazy. Also there are some people that actually struggle with impulse buying and regret it later.

Life is as expensive as you want it to be. My girlfriend could never wear make up ever and I would still find her hot. Dispite her protests that she is not.

I do have bare minimum hygiene standards that practically everyone can meet though.
