Having been here for a few months now, I have come across quite a few endearing spelling mistakes and have even started using some of them myself. Do you have any favorites? Would you please share? Which of these do you think is the best?

i spell hormones - whoremoans... but spelling doesnt bother me, i have more important things to worry about.

Dude, I can spell most of these and I cant spell this ugh this thread irritated me , but hey heres a word that is commonly mispelled STRIAGHT for some reason nobody can ever spell that word correctly ..
That's brilliant. Of these options though I picked Self of steam because not only is it misspelled, it's intrinsically incorrect.

For me, it is the words "Lose" and "Loose" I read things like "Is it normal to loose my virginity" or "I'm loosing my mind" lol :D
As good Grammar Nazis will inform you, grammar does not include spelling :) So many people get that wrong.

'A lot' being spelled as, "allot". Not even coming close to having the same meaning. :\
But I'm guilty of spelling curious as 'curios'. It's not my fault though, this stupid touch pad won't keep up with me sometimes. >:\

I don't know if we're referring to the same incident, but I remember seeing "self of steam". That one was too cute.
"Self of steam" made me laugh! I also got a laugh out of "ric3" meaning rice, "intell" meaning until, and "erdge" meaning urge.

"Kinda", instead of the proper "kind of" really irritates me for some reason.
I'm a Grammar Nazi and my fiance is a freaking HORRIBLE speller!!! ughhhh!! It was cute the first month or so that we were dating, now I'm constantly correcting him..
Some mistakes he does all the time:
Angle = Angel
Coll = Call
Rong = Wrong
Brak = Brake
To = Too
It's like, dude! It's ONE letter!! Come on!! ughhh!!

GRAMMAR NAZI. I see these not only on IIN, but all over the Internet, period:
1) "There" when people mean "they're" or "their." - Where going to the beach with where family?
2) "Your" when people mean "you're." - My stupid what?
3) "Loose" when people mean "lose." - You are going to untie your mind?
4) "Could of," "should of," and "would of." - There is no such thing.
5) "To" used in place of "too." - Where is this much place you speak of?
6) "Alot" instead of "a lot". It is TWO words, not one.
7) "Friend" is often spelled wrong.
8) "Definitely" is the same way.
9) Also don't forget "weird."
10) "Suppose to" when people mean "supposed to."

I don't want to pick on that user, she's clearly getting a lot of shit for her atrocious spelling...but is it really that hard??? No one expects essay perfect writing, it IS just the internet. BUT. I don't understand not making an effort in posts...you have time to review! Ugh.

When I was younger, I read the book Oliver Twist, and there was a guys called "Master Bates" in it. Made me giggle every time. And yes, "mustrubate" is brilliant.
I tend to like "masterbate," as well as "pregnent." Also "would of" and the classic "they're, their, there."
