The best game ever made for Xbox 360 or PS3 is Batman Arkham City. There are only two games that comes pretty close to Arkham City: Batman Arkham Asylum and GTA IV. If really think about it, these modern video game consoles dont have much good games anymore...

Halo, Mafia 2, anything from valve, Bioshock, F:NV, and Plants vs Zombies.
Metal Gear Solid 4 is my all time favourite. My other favourites are Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, Rayman 3, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Ghosts N Goblins, Chrono Trigger, Ico, Shadow of the Colossus, Mother 3, the main series Pokemon games, Banjo-Kazooie, etc.
Hehe amnesia youll be shitting bricks when you play this alone in the dark.
Of the ones listed here, I'm gonna have to say Mass Effect.
Other ones I like are Tales of Symphonia, Fallout 3 and New Vegas, Disgaea 3/4, Xenosaga, Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, Red Dead Redemption, Metal Gear Solid 3, Pokémon, and The Sims 3... there are probably others, but I can't think of them at the moment.
Amazing Gamers but no Serious Sam players in here from the fps category and Theme Hospital from the strategy category.. I like em both and nobody wrote about the game of the year Skyrim i was thouoght i would read a few words whats so great about it..
Silent Hill. Everything, Person or Monster Screams in pain, agony or Anger. And the environment changes constantly so you don't know if it's Alternate, Past, Present or Nightmare World.
Almost anything Mario. I even spent $70 (like a year ago) on Mario RPG because it's pretty rare and I had to have it.
I picked "Other". Some of the Final Fantasy games are my favourite ones but the series also had extremely bad games.

I love many older games, and few of today's. I do not like the Call of Duty series, that has got to be the most boring shooter out there. Halo was a decent shooter but that too has gotten quite old, Gears of War is a lot of fun though. Also I don't see what's so amazing about Skyrim?
