Apparently a LOT of people are afraid of clowns; it's not at all unusual.
Just out of curiosity, could you try to explain it? I'm honestly curious.
That's a bit mean of her to make fun of your fear. I used to know a few people that were creeped out by clowns. All of them had different reasons. I voted normal.
hmm, im scared of clowns too.
i dont know if this helps but, i was thinking about why i am actually scared of them.
i realised, im actually scared of the fact you never know who it could be under all that makeup and fake smiles, its practically a mask.
masks scare me as well. its just the fact their identity is covered up.
maybe its the same for you?
I think it's pretty normal. Some people are scared of dolls. Julius Caesar and Napoleon were terrified of kittens.
Next time she's scared of something( like spiders) put it in her hair.
Why are people scared if clowns? It's not like we come across clowns on a regular basis in everyday life.
I don't see what being outside in the desert has to do with it, but a fear of clowns is quite common, common enough for the phobia to have a name - do some googling, you're not alone, and you wife is childish and disrespectful to make fun of you about it.
I don't blame you for being afraid. Being a clown is sort of a sociopath's game.
Well it's a good thing you told us about the desert otherwise this story would have made no sense.
