Females: how far is the bottom of your ribs to the top of your pelvis?

Stand up straight and feel your sides and find the very bottom of your rib cage. Once you find the very bottom tip of it, find the distance from there to the top of the pelvis (as shown in the picture).

        Mine do too when I bend in certain positions, an osteopath told me it's fairly normal. It does result in me having a wide waist, though. It's also more likely myuterus is higher, so childbirth will be more painful. Yay, me!

        I'm not sure, I never really wondered about it. If I know anyone who has this happen, I'd never know.
        Mine rub together when I sit funny, sometimes it hurts. Otherwise, they're spaced about 2 inches.

    Female : I'm 5'1 and I measured. It came out to be 5 inches.I consider myself short waisted. I don't understand why lots of people said 1-2 inches. I can't imagine anyone having a shorter torso than me. 3-4 iunches maybe but, 1-2 inches. That's freaking tiny.

    I'm a guy and want to vote.(9) I noticed my female friend's ribs stick out unusually when she's laying down. Mine are about *measures with a ruler* 1.5inches apart.

    2-3 inches, I voted 3 out of uncertainty. :P Do yours touch all the time? If so I'd worry a little bit about the bones wearing each other out,but it's probably not a cause for very much concern

    I have somewhere around 2 to 4 inches inbetween. I have an irregular torso though.
