I can only listen to music without vocals, they are too irritating. I like music from producers like GosT, Carpenter Brut, William Basinski or Chopin.
I know a band that just does instrumentals, it's very good and relaxing stuff, band's called This Will Destroy You
Scale the summit, liquid tension experiment. Kind of heavy but its well constructed music for sure.
I love a raw emotional soulful vocal. Much of today's pop music is intolerable. Way over produced and sterile which I find so boring and grating.
That's fine if that's your thing, but most people find the poetry of lyrics and the emotions of human voices an integral part if music.
