Quite a few gay people I know use the expression meaning something is lame or ridiculous. Do you avoid this slang or is it acceptable in the gay circle, kind of like blacks calling each other "nigga".
I heard a couple gay dudes saying faggot. It's practically their 'n' word.
Actually it is pretty normal... i like gays my best friend is gay but i like to say "its so gay" phrase because its funny and not offended... gay people are very sensitive and environment concious people and the gay phrase is for to tell romantic or sensitive situtation... i think its pretty normal
I've called stuff that's overly romantic "gay" as in lame, even if it's straight lol..and I'm not straight but I'm also not easily offended by words like that.. If people say gay, fag etc. I don't care. I just think it's funny. But I know some people these days are overly sensitive so I try to avoid it
