Friends and family classed as specific bugs?

I made a list a few years ago that matches most of my family and friends to a bug that they resemble. I really truly think that these people look, and even act like their specific bugs.
My friends, aside from a few, think this is NOT NORMAL. Recently I created a collage of the bugs. Seeing them in images and comparing to the people I know, I have really realized the accuracy of my list. My family and friends do not share the same opinion...
is my Bug List NORMAL or NOT NORMAL????

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

Do I truly need to seek a therapist for this, and should I consider this an issue or simply a problem?

I used to compare people at my old school to animals. Goldfish, T-rex, monkeys.. all sorts of animals lolz:)

People associate people with different animals all the time, why not bugs?

LOL I do this when I look at people, except it's not limited to bugs. Some kid's face I knew reminded me of a banana, every time I saw his face I just looked at and it thought 'banana.' And one of my friends was similar to a frog. You should read The Metamorphosis.

I've never heard of anyone doing that before. But it's really cute for some reason. :)

My ex, a sociopath, made lists of family and friends, sorted by how easy they were to manipulate. I think her problem was worse than yours.

While what you do isn't strictly normal, entirely normal people are utterly anodyne and boring. I'd think of it as a quirk rather than a problem. And quirks can be quite endearing. Don't worry about what your friends say. As long as you're not hurting anyone, I don't think it's a problem.
