Funniest cat or dog names

I'll name a few funny cat and dog names that I've known about. Names of pets in movies or of anyone famous I've read about are not on this thread. I'm talking about names I've come across personally.

First are the most common names I've personally seen most often:

For dogs: Buster, Ribsy, Max, Spot, Lady, Chester, Jake, Buddy

For cats: Whiskers, Frisky, Muffin, Penny, Sam, Missy, Sylvester

Now for funny unusual names that family members, friends, aquaintances of mine, and strangers I've come across to call their cats or dogs:

Cats:
Ol' Ginger cat (those 3 words were all his name (he was ginger colored))
Big ears, the cat (had ears semi-longer than normal)
Tiddly winks
Hamburger
Copper slippers (had golden orange paws)
Chocolate Fudge, the cat (brown cat)

Dogs:
Red Rover Red Rover (his name was officially all 4 words (from that game kids used to play on playground))
Bacon, the dog
Doofus
Rumpa-tump-tump (named him after line in "Little drummer boy")
Dog (his name was Dog)

What both common and unusual hilarious names have you all known your friends, family, or aquaintances to call their cats and dogs?

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

My second and third dogs were Taullawhee and Beefer.

Tully got her name from my then four year old cousin who had a speech impediment saying we should "Call her wee".

Beefer was short for "bee-fer-bastard" cos she was a shit of a puppy (and grew to be a shit of a dog). I wanted to call her Stirfry.

Before Tully we had a couple of cats. One's name was Hilary (idk why) but everyone called her Runted. Presumably because she was the runt of the litter and she was also munted.

We've considered continuing the theme with ay-fer-arsehole, etc...

I said to my grandmother yesterday we should've called her "jesus fucking christ" cos she got that so often she probably thought it was her name.

We considered Mofo for our last dog. He came with the name Mofu but we never got a chance to change it.

Oh. My boyfriend has a pig called Pineapple. Not a dog or cat but it's a good name.

    • Oh, lol. Just like an elderly neighbor I once had who just called her dog Dog. It was because she could never decide on a name.

    • Dallas dynasty is a good name. Even better, "Cleo-Cat-tra". I also knew a dog called Little bear. That's kinda similar to calling a dog Pig. Naming an animal a different animal as a name

My cat's called Simba (he looks just like Simba the cub in The Lion King haha). My other cat from a couple years back was called Namez. I don't know who named him that, but it's pretty weird.

We named one of our cats Toots because he farted constantly when he was young.

My wife named a pair of cats she gave a new home to Pebbles and Bam-Bam. They thoroughly hated each other all their lives.

    • Yes, and that was one of the most riskiest racial names anyone's called their pet also. Good answer. Except, on this thread I am referring to names of cats or dogs of anyone you all have personally known, friends, fam, aquaintances, passer-bys, etc. But, that was still a good answer of one of the most outrageous pet names in history.
