Germs on my sponge

I brought home some groceries the other day, and my boyfriend brought in some bags, and one of those bags had a bath pouf that I had bought. I looked over,and noticed that one of the shopping bags was on a kitchen chair. People sit on that chair, and deposit their ass germs there. I picked up the bag, and noticed that my bath pouf was in there, and there were also several holes in the bottom of said bag. Is it normal that I am worried about people's ass germs on the sponge, or do you think it's safe to use?

    It would get worse bacteria on it sitting in your shower or tub between uses.

    Dowse everything in bleach and gasoline, burn house down to kill all germs and rebuild new clean house.

    Seriously, I'd hate to be your boyfriend... Cleanliness is nice, but yours ain't that.

    Wet it and then put it in the microwave for a minute. That will kill any butt germs that you imagine now reside on your poof.

    Submerge the sponge in a bottle of ethanol to kill any germs it may have picked up from the chair. Then give your boyfriend a VICIOUS lecture on bag-placing etiquette.

        Fair enough, I was just looking at options.
        So, now there are three.
        Someone might argue she has a phobia, or mental issue.
