Give the cats the tuna juice, people!!

Whenever I make a tuna sammich, I drain the tuna juice into my cat's bowl. They love it!!

Please, people, don't pour that liquid gold down the sink drain!! Give it to kitty!! Kitty likey!!

IIN? If not, it should be.

You have to be really, really careful with this. Cats are only little fellows and the oil, salt, mercury can hit them harder than us. It's okay as an occasional thing, though, and kitties do seem to go mental for it.

      this.

people don't always realize this but tuna-treats and tuna-flavored foods for cats only have a little bit of tuna because too much of it will hurt the cat.

Why do you want to kill your cat?

Cats can be addicted to tuna, whether it's packed for cats or for humans. Some tuna now and then probably won't hurt. But a steady diet of tuna prepared for humans can lead to malnutrition because it won't have all the nutrients a cat needs. And, too much tuna can cause mercury poisoning. Remember the saying, "Honest as a cat when the meat's out of reach." Your cat will see an open can of tuna next to the sink as a dinner invitation.

Plus IIRC, some strains of tuna are poisonous to cats, but not to humans.

    • Dang, I make a tuna sammich like 6-8 times a year and only strain the juice out for them, they're fine. One of them is 14 and healthy as ever.

I don't have a cat or eat tuna. If I get a cat and start eating tuna I will do this for you.

  • ok i will! so cute, btw your cat is not sitting on an ergonomic chair, plus it doesnt have a wrist rest to stop strain, just a thought

I don't have a cat. I don't even like cats that much, unlike 99% of the internet community who LOVE TEH CUTE KITTY :3 lolz.

But yes I'm sure they do love the Tuna juice. On a side note, best not to give cats milk. Many are lactose intolerant and it isn't good for them. Water is the best thing for cats to drink.

When I used to make Tuna sandwiches I would always give my cat pieces of tuna. I never thought to give her the juices, though.

  • Oh here we go again, another (or the same) cat rapist. You are disgusting perverts.

Someone stop these losers from molesting their cats.
