Going to another dimension

I dreamt about a loved one building a portal for me to another dimension. And when it was finished, i went through it. In there the dimension was a giant village with houses made out of bricks but had modern things inside them. I also remember that Lisa from the Simpsons was known as her name backwards written in Chinese, and Santa was instead some giant monster (still does the things he would do here) with long legs. This is just so odd i thought i would share it see if you think its a normal thing to dream about or not.

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

I don't think you understand what dimension means. How many dimensions did this 'new dimension' have? Three by any chance? You dreamt of a new place not a new dimension.

No not like that first you make her name backwards in english then write it in Chinese by the sounds her name makes backwards.

It is impossible to be "going to another dimension", for the simple reason that so-called 'dimensions' are an 'abstract concept', that do not exist in reality.

"You're traveling through another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind. A journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination. That's the signpost up ahead - your next stop, the Twilight Zone!"

It's normal to have odd dreams. Last night I had a dream that I was in my house, but it looked different from my house. It was also the year 2006 for some reason. My late great dog Blackie was in it and I spent half the time in the dream petting her. The other half was spent just exploring the house and noting the similarities and differences between that dream house and the one I have in real life. It was really fun. I was worried that I was going to wake up before I got to finish, and that's what happened. When I went back to sleep, I was back in it and for some reason didn't bother to finish. XD

Dreams are weird. I honestly can't stand the Simpsons anymore.
