Governor Cuomos lawyer did a press conference today and if what she claims is true sounds like the investigation was bias. Including not asking witnesses whether or not the things happened. Or that some girls werent even at the place and time that they said it occurred. I dont have a horse in the race I dont like Cuomo but it's looking hella sketchy. They even released photos of him "kissing and groping" women to the media as evidence. And it does not even appear that bad even without context. It looks abit weird but a lot of new yorkers do that cheek kissy thing.

    Andrew Cuomo is an ego maniac & bully who wouldn't just resign if there wasn't something to it. Some of his accusers are now filing charges in court. The investigation was conducted by Democrats, his accusers are/were his subordinates working for him so it's ridiculous for him or his attorney to claim it's politically motivated. His excuse for much of seems to be that "I didn't mean it that way". (It's kind of like arguing that I didn't mean to drive drunk, I didn't mean to kill him, I didn't mean to rape her. He doesn't deny doing it just what he meant by it.)

    Don't forget- One year ago he was on top of the world, the Democrat Wonder Boy. He was complimented & congratulated for his handling of covid. He wrote a book, appeared on TV constantly & won an Emmy. There were Democrats who wanted him to replace Biden on the ticket believing he was more electable. Do you really believe if there was nothing to any of this that they'd all turn on him so fast for no good reason??

    I'm not sure how much of what Governor Cuomo did.

    But, I don't believe it really matters because I do know something he did that is the real basis for this; and is unforgivable for a politician or any real leader.

    A reality is that how many men treated woman decades ago was "awful" by today standards.

    I grew up in the era when the boss sleeping with one of the staff was common and any business decision maker was offered or provided with call girls at conferences or with dinners with vendors bidding on projects (I was offered such many times and turned them down when I was at a certain management level; but, many did not turn them down).

    Many woman had to dress up to display their "assets" at work to the male managers.

    I remember when the 1st laws were passed in the 1980's about sexual harassment at work that started to change things.

    Times and expectations have changed... what was considered common and acceptable decades ago is no longer considered so.Both men and woman have had to change due to what I personally consider as very good changes in the expectations.

    Governor Cuomo's biggest failing is that he failed to change his behavior in how he treated, touched, looked, etc. at woman over the decades. I changed mine, and so did the majority of men my age.

    The fact that as a key political leader that he did not pick up on the need to change his behavior... is why he's not suitable to continue to be Governor of NY State.

    If he could have pointed out that yes he did things that were more acceptable when he was younger and now are not,and owed apologies to those ladies; but, that he had clearly changed with evidence of those changes... I doubt that he would be in the hot water that he finds himself in now.

    Intelligent people are expected to learn and change; and we all have a past that is far from perfect.

    I'm more concerned about the 12000 elderly people he killed by dropping off covid patients on the doorstep of nursing homes. When the USS Mercy was just hanging out in port.

    But sure if this is the shit he gets hung up for than why not.

    I'm not fully pro Cuomo but I agree it's incredibly sketchy and there's no solid evidence. Even the interviews conducted one seemed like she was making it all up and the other just said he hugged her too close lol and yes correct they said some of those happenings were when he wasn't even there and off somewhere for a conference.
