Graduated next year from vet school , literally know nothing is it normal ?!!

please give me your experience about first job after graduation and advice me :\

i am in vet school going to graduate the next year but literally know nothing as i feel right now

4 years of studying and passing exams with great grades and i feel empty my information about vet is just too shallow that any animal lover may know i mean i study heavy courses and forget it after finishing exams !

i am so afraid that i will be a bad doctor i really love this career and i want to be good at it but till now i can't diagnose or treat any case

i haven't get any train beside studying but i am searching right now ...

so is it normal to feel this while studying but after graduation and training i will do well ?

the next year won't make a difference i will just take more information that i will forget as soon as i graduate

please help me i am really hopeless at this moment like i have been wasting my time all these years :(

    Try an internship.

I always felt like I forgot everything after a test or an exam even after finishing school and stuff for a job^^

You get to learn and keep the necessary knowledge while working, trust me, and it will stay :D

It's just normal to feel insecure about all this stuff, you're not the only one.

I felt that way too and it never got that much better so finally I went back to school and changed careers.

I sometimes felt the same way when I was in school, but once I graduated and was on the job it all came to me when I needed it. Also experience is the great teacher. A couple of decades down the road I'm steeped in my line of work and it's all second nature to me.
