Gut issues with anxiety... (relief ideas?)

Not an ‘IIN’ question, but I know this site has a decent community and I’m just hoping someone could have any recommendations.

A few years back, I got food poisoning, but it never seemed to go away.
Turns out I developed IBS, which wasn’t the worst, just needed to be careful of fodmap foods, but then it started to suddenly become a horrible cycle as I started getting terrible anxiety (which affects my bowels), of being stressed about the pain, going to the toilet and it just kept going.

I’ve always been a bit lanky, but since having ibs, I’ve hardly grown and become a bit pale and boney, so it’s become quite the concern.

If anyone has any tablets, treatments or other things to reccommend, I’d be grateful, even if it doesn’t end up working for me.
(I do currently take stress medication, also fecal transplants are not in my area yet)

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

      Thanks for the idea!
I will have to see if it’s fodmap friendly (since getting salmonella, I’ve needed to also diet), even if it isn’t, I’m sure there’s similar foods too.

Well mate, I am once again surprised by people who ask about medical conditions and symptoms online to strangers. If it is a big deal, see a doctor already. Its unlikely anyone on here can tell you whats going on anyways.

I’ve seen heaps of doctors, tried many tablets, done countless blood tests and even had a biopsy (alongside a gastroscopy). Nothing yet has worked, everything comes back normal.
I’m just wondering if anyone here has any sort of similar condition and possibly took something that ended up helping them.

      I probably should’ve mentioned that...

Yes you should have mate. If you have tried all that, then I can't blame you too much for asking on here. But still, doctors are the experts so if anyone on earth can help you, it is most lilely them.
