Completely depends upon the girl. I've liked women with hair of every length. If you like someone, you like them. And hopefully it's for something more substantial than the length of their hair.

If you asked me to rate random photos of women whose personality I obviously couldn't judge, though, I'd probably more often say that longer hair is more attractive than short hair (but not always).

i like short hair on girls and long hair on guys, im a girl and i cut my hair all the time myself, i like mine up to my clavicle with bangs in my face i love it. and i like the same style on guys or a little shorter

I think long hairstyles are the nicest on girls, but I love all the other lengths on some girls too, but the ideal is long for me. Just goes well with a feminine face I guess...

I've had long hair and I've had it short..I gotten more compliments on short..plus it's a bob..I guess it makes me look more older--not too old..I'm only 22 but the short was a major transformation for me because I have only wore my hair long ever since I can remember..but now I like it short :) I see some women with long hair or short and the hairstyles DOES NOT fit them at all..so yeah it deff depends on the head shape

Woman are lucky in that everything on a woman can be sexy, everything! The thing with hair on a woman is that as long as it doesnt make you look like a BOY, (woman dont look like MEN, hopefully!) then it really depends on the woman and what she is aiming for; be it sex appeal, professional, fun and flirty, aggressive, whatever... My girlfriend likes to put her hair up sometimes so that its out of her face, but sometimes she does it so that when she down, she looks even hotter! Its like, SURPRISE!!! If you thought I was hot before, check me out now! On a side note, I sometimes get excited when she puts it up, even if thats not what we are doing, because I know what that sometimes means! ;) A little chunk-lolly-gagger, you know, a tongue lashing, soft full lips that take pride in a job well done, but the lips/tongue prefer to visit when the soft, flowing hair is in the other room; it suffices to say, they dont always welcome one another when the mood gets steamy!

it makes a difference on the girl's head and/or facial feature. but yes, like they say... it really truely depends.

one thing i'm thinking is why do ask? are you looking for a new hair cut? Usually something that helps is having a hair cut that not only works for your lifestyle (mostly work style) then any hair length or short you can always pull character out of for the fun nights out when you wanna spruce up. If your use to putting your hair in a pony tail then keep it long so you have the choice to put it up and away. if you like hair in your face, go for a cute short cut. but remember, what works best for your lifestyle pulls out the you that you really are.
