Gym in first period makes me unusually tired

Ok so every other day we have to get our heart rate above 145 bpm for 30 minutes but I fail all the time because my heart beats so slow but when I do pass I can’t work for the rest of the day what should I do? (I’m sorry if this doesn’t make sense)

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

I could be wrong, but this kind of sounds like a stupid way for your gym teacher to teach. Bro, if you have a super slow heart rate then you're healthy and it's going to be really hard to push your heart rate that high for that long a period.

I wouldn't be surprised if for some people it's dangerous to do so because they would have to push their bodies so hard. Whereas fatty mcgee in the corner can just walk on the treadmill and get their heart rate up to that level for 30 minutes.

Try to stay awake for english class where you can learn how to read, because while signing up for this website, you clicked a button that stated you were 18.

Tell the PE teacher to fuck off, that's stupid. That's like saying everyone has to lift the same weight no matter how strong or weak they are. It's potentially dangerous, not to mention pointless, there aren't many situations where that type of performance is required in real life or in sports.

If you really have no choice in the matter, then you need to eat an extra meal on gym days. It sounds like your blood sugar level is very low.

I bet the teacher goes to crossfit.

Exactly. In crossfit, they have workouts where you have to do a certain amount of reps on given exercises as fast as you can, so people perform them with no concern for technique or safety in order to achieve the fastest time, which leads to either no gains in performance or sometimes even injury. Then they think they got a good workout because they're tired and in pain the next day. It's like reading a book as fast as you can and forgetting the whole thing immediately because you don't concentrate on the content of the book.
