So whenever I take a shower, I have to first wipe down the soap because someone's nasty pubes are all over the soap. I haven't discussed this with anyone but it's disgusting. We've only 1 bath. I can't use any other soap because I've got sensitive skin, and body wash and I do not mix at all. It's there anything I can do about this without feeling awkward?
There isnt much you can do other than keeping your own soap hidden in your room, otherwise just get use to wiping it off until you can move out.
Yes it's normal for you to be disqusted. What do you mean, you can't get different soap? Get another of the same kind and keep it in your room and when you go to shower take it with you and use it. Get your own, don't use the fams. God that's gross I'm sorry you're going through this no kidding.
Use body wash or even shampoo so you don't have to deal with that problem.
Are the folks you share the bathroom with family members or strangers or room mates or what?
Then that's easy. Bring it up at the dinner table. You're probably stepping on more pubes around the toilet than what you're seeing on the soap. How do you know they're pubes anyway? They could just be wiry chest hair.
Nobody has much chest hair. Head hair is too long. Arm hair, leg hair still too long.
I think my dad (he was in the military but that might not mean anything) may have been conditioned to 'in and out' it. I talked to mom about this and she just sighed, "Yeah, I know." Now I recall her complaining that he doesn't lather with his hands but rather let's his bod have direct contact with the soap. Bleghhh.
Luckily I'm going to college in a couple of weeks...
I can't imagine using a communal bar of soap at all :/ why can't you just buy another bar of it?
