Happy new year

That sucks:( is caffeine the only trigger you have or are there others? Mine seem to be lack of sleep, dehydration/heat, stress and occasionally my neck being fucked up. How often do you get them?

I used to, but had to stop after some surgery made me weirdly intolerant to coffee. Caffeine always seemed to help, though.
Used to only be able to take ibuprofen + codeine for it (paracetamol/tylenol has never done shit for me for any pain, idk why), was the only thing that ever worked...until it didn't. Asprin makes me puke, doctor has told me to try Immigran but never given me prescription for it...I've found naproxen (aleve) works somewhat. My first line of treatment has always been to find a cold, dark room and force myself to sleep. Migrasticks seem to help. Meds are a last resort, unless I'm working.

That being said, I only had two minor migraines all of last year. Some bad headaches, too, but I can live with them and only take ibuprofen if they hang around more than a day. Haven't had any of the blinding pukey type in a while. Not entirely sure this last one counted, even though it was one sided and slightly light sensitive. It wasn't the same crippling pain where I can't function.

I was actually awake for it for one of the few times ever. But only because I was preparing food for lunch the next day.

Sleep is better.
