Has anyone had an internet friend for many years never met in person?

I've had many internet friends over the years, my closest one i've known for around 10 years or so. We've never met because he lives in a different country far away. We talk very often. We met at complete random I was on this chatting site I used to go on to troll mainly, I was 14-15 years old and I was pretty much just being silly messing with him a bit but we ended up videochatting a while and it turned to serious conversation and he was just so easy to, we immadiately formed a very strong connection. I've never been able to keep any other internet friendship up, there is only one other whom I was close with around 8 years ago or so but we're merely acquitances now, follow each other on social media and say happy birthday to each other but thats it and I have one internet friend I have met in person so I don't consider that one merely an internet friend even though it kind of is. Anyone else who's had an internet friend many years you never met?
