Has your wrong decision in early life affected others?

Since we must make many decisions it is a good idea for us to be equipped to make the decisions both for ourselves and also where others are affected. A wrong decision in early life can ruin the whole life from that point on. If you have voted "No" then i would like to hear your views on it, on how a wrong decision in early life can affect others?

No. My mistakes have affected me and me alone. If those who knew me, never knew me, they would be no different or better off.

My dad left us when I was 10 yo. I was the eldest of 3 others and my mom was just 5 weeks pregnant but didn't know. Anyway when he found out, he wanted to come back. I cried for my dad and she eventually let him return when the new baby was born.

She hated me every day of my life for 'forcing' her to take him back! It was all my fault - and that's what she shouted at me every day. I left at 18yo and 18 years after he returned, the youngest of my siblings left home. She continued to live with him for a further 15 years after that - just the two of them, until he died last year.

So I suppose it doesn't matter that she ruined my life with her rotten bitterness and hate anymore :o(

Anyway, she's re-writing history and telling me that he wasn't at all bad - fucked up bitch!!

Numerous bad decisions of mine had affected my family and my girlfriend and her family. Now as I have grown and matured, it has blown over. It still haunts me at times but, who isn't haunted by their past at times..
It's normal, but not fun and I have learned a lot by those bad decisions, and become more knowledgeable and gained a lot of wisdom from self observation as well as observation of others.
