The guy was playing music that was punker than punk as a one man band in the 50s. Plus he dropped out of like 2nd grade which is something only the most severely cool kids can manage.

This song, and basically all of his songs were recorded in one take with a reel to reel recorder in a tarpaper shack in west virginia with him playing all the instruments at the same time. Thats way more badass than elvis.
