In response to the first question, prayer can't do any harm but giving money may be more useful. As to the other comments above, most seem to be the product of sheer ignorance. Islamic terrorism is probably a threat to all of us, especially those living in cities. So is the military response of western governments. The effect of instability in the middle east will impact the global economy etc. etc. etc. This isn't a matter of a little local problem that the rest of the world can ignore and though conspiracy may be involved, it is probably on all sides. The arms industry is doing nicely, however. It may be a good time to buy shares.

I am very sorry, but nobody can stop it. Armageddon awaits. Europe will become Islamicized in 50 years. Freedom of speech will die. Western values will be forgotten.
