    They're replaceable...I'd be more concerned about losing the earrings.

      I lost a really nice diamond and emerald earring once and the thing is that when it fell off I jerked because it hit my shoulder and I was afraid it was a bug. I didn't actually notice that the earring was gone until I got home, and noticed in the mirror that it was gone.

        My grandmother did that with her $2500 hearing aid :(

        Emeralds are beautiful.

        I've been wanting to get my ears repierced for ages. Ugh.

          Go for the ear piercing. There is a little pinch and it's over. I'm a guy and wear one earing.

              Yes. Do you have a brain and use it? One of the comments was on ear piercing as an alternative to clip on earings and that is what I was replying to. Another one that is incapable of following threads.

    Maybe when I was a child and had newly pierced ears. I don't worry about that since then and I almost always wear wire hook style anyway. Hardly ever wear them, though, which is kinda funny because I begged my mom for months to let me get my ears pierced when I was 8 or 9 and it was a huge deal for me as a kid. At my grandma's funeral, I begged my aunt to take me earring shopping...got my first dangles that day. They were ugly in retrospect and not very long but it was a highlight of my life at that point.

    My favorite pair of earrings, I actually stole them from a mall store when I was around 12. Me and my friend got dropped off there for a few hours and we both stole a pair that day...dumb kid stuff, I know. Anyway, the earrings were a silver articulated fish skeleton. So cool! I wish I still had them.

    I pretty much only wear hoops if that gives you any sort of clue.
