Maybe you should move to socialist Venezuela, where gas is like 10 cents a gallon. Completely subsidized by the socialist government when Hugo Chavez nationalized the oil industry there. Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.

Yeah, just snap your fingers and it happens. The oil industry is a giant machine, with many moving parts that rely on outside variables. We're almost there now. But Bubba -the one who complains about gas prices the most - continues to haul-ass down the highway at 80 mph in a giant gas-guzzling 4x4 with high-friction (and absurd) oversized tires. Hey, Bubba - let me clue you in. That truck ain't gonna get your fat ass laid!

I drive a 4 cylinder to save on gas and Id bet money I have less bodyfat than you. Canceling pipelines and asserting that you are ending the use of fossil fuels might just make oil companies produce less to milk as much money as possible. Somehow other presidents are able to get oil companies to produce more just not these oil abolitionists ones.

some people rely on their pickup for a living i had to cut my service area in 1/2 for delivery's because the cost of diesel
and dont let anyone fool you covid had nothing to do with the reduction in production of fuel
its all the co2 reduction mandates for the refineries and the closing of the pipeline and banning of fracking and closing of rail lines
POS Joe is 100% to blame for the cost of gas
and what's worse is the future of fossil fuel is so up in the air because of POS joe that investors will not put money into the ageing refineries that are running full tilt most of which BTW are over 100 years old and are currently running without maintenance and WILL fail farther stalling production
you cant grind the nations economy to a halt just to virtue signal
just wait till the food shortage and water quality takes a nose dive
farmers cant farm without diesel trains cant transport without diesel trucks cant supply stores without diesel
you are fucked in the head if you don't think this is your problem too

Who said it's great there? Venezuela has the highest inflation rate of any country in the world - about 1000% annually. You're the one complaining about pain every time you fill up. Well, I'm tired of people who are full of $hit like you. Buy a car that gets better gas mileage, or drive less. Car pool. Take public transportation. But stop complaining and DO SOMETHING - or leave!

I didn't get robbed completely but I did beat one up because he tried to steal my wallet and tried to threaten me with a knife it also ended with me disarming him throwing his knife away and leaving him with a concussion.
I had to defend myself it was my only option it was either to fight to protect myself or give in and get seriously injured by the robber.

Technically? It's not that impressive of a story though. My Nintendo 3DS was stolen by someone I considered a friend at the time. I was 12 or 13 and had saved up a ton of money to buy the thing.
I only found out that it had been stolen rather than lost when a *different* friend (who had never been to my house) showed me their copy of Pokemon Black 2. It had all of my Pokemon in it and even had my name set as the main character.
Funnily enough that 3DS is where I even initially discovered IIN. I was an edgy preteen and was curious. It's hard to believe that was over ten years ago now. It's even more difficult to believe that I recently rediscovered the site.
Edit: I actually found my old account. It still has a few comments. Lmao.

I got my iPod stolen from the back zip up pocket of my backpack whilst standing near a body of water in the Czech Republic in 2013. Those Gypsy pickpocketers are ninja level. I was just astounded.

Some black dude tried to rob me in the sticks after agreeing to trade his 9mm for my yugoslavian SKS (soviet rifle). I figured out a way to finesse my way out of the situation. Its a long story.

He asked me to meet him on this gravel lot out in the country at night and I saw him and a dude walking towards me in the distance (they assumed I couldnt see them) and his friend then turned and went into the woods which was parallel to my car as he kept walking towards me. My SKS was in my trunk and he came up and I asked him about his friend and he said "what are you talking about no one walked with me". I assumed his friend was in the woods infront of my car and they were planning on doing something. I got out of it tho
