Have you ever cross-dressed?

Cross-dressing can mean whatever it means to you. It can mean different things to different people. There is no hard line between looking androgynous and cross-dressing. Despite the word "dressing", it isn't limited to clothes; it can be make-up or hair or whatever. You can cross-dress in public or in private. Just once, or every day. Just one or two items of clothing, or a whole outfit. You can leave a comment explaining more details about your experience if you want.

Have you ever done it?

My ex wore my underwear and liked to pretend I was a guy, so that's sort of cross dressing right?

I don't think of the girl in that photo as a crossdresser, but rather more so as being androgynous. I think she's very beautiful and would make a good fashion model. I love how androgynous female and male fashion models look; I find there is something ideal and even angelic about that sort if look. Overly masculine or feminine faces tend to strike me as boring, redundant and sometimes even ugly.

The photo is a boy I think. I saw that picture online recently.

    • Yeah, I decided to choose a picture of someone simply androgynous rather than someone who was obviously cross-dressing. Most of the pictures I found when I searched for "crossdresser" showed people who had really gone to town with it, which is great but I wanted to show a picture of someone who had approached androgyny in a way which was less extreme but still obvious.

Wore my brother's clothes for gender swap day during finals week in high school. His boots made me feel powerful as I walked down the hallway.

Loads of times indoors, I love it! I only went outdoors fully once, to a rocky horror show in mini skirt tights ballet flats wig bra and top, want to go again! I love feeling like a woman, but live most of my life as a guy

One time for Halloween. Went to the campus (UT Austin) and was immediately spotted by a male friend! AWKWARD but also great fun!

Would love to cross dress totally, but wife would never hear of it...

I like to wear men's clothing sometimes, so yes. Some of the men's clothing in the stores I shop at look a lot nicer than the women's clothes.

I did, but only a few times and it was fairly minor. When an ex girlfriend back in the 1980's went on vacation for a week, I was watching her house while she was away. I masturbated in her bed using her vibrator. A couple of times, I put on her panties and a silk nitey & smoked More 120 cigarettes, while I played with myself. Just recently, I put on a pair of my wife's panties & a nitey while I masturbated to gay porn. Both times. the orgasms were very powerful.

Cross dressing to me is when you intentionally try to look like the opposite sex. Androgynous dressing doesnt fit that as it is neither. However drag queens are a clear example of cross dressing and there isnt really a female equivalent for that. Probably because half the fun of being a drag queen is dancing around in a dress and being fabulous.

Yes, I have! I have a pretty androgynous face though so, even when I'm not crossdressing, I still sometimes get mistaken. I personally LOVE it, though. When I was younger I was embarrassed and hated my looks for not being more feminine, but for the past few years I've grown to love and even embrace it.

I have a friend who wants to crossdress but...well, is finding it hard to actually do. I feel like crossdressing for women is easier, as you can just wear jeans anyways and most of the "dyke" comments have stopped since pixie cuts are being more popular. For guys, you ONLY have jeans so to wear a skirt, grow your hair long, and wear makeup...idk, to me, that takes courage. Guys have it hard in this aspect, moreso than girls (in my opinion, anyways; feel free to think differently) and it makes me feel bad.

I wish the best of luck and support to any males who want to crossdress because unlike for me, society isn't so easy on the men out there.

Oh god, I remember the times when I was mistaken as a boy from gay men and hit on..and then by straight girls who ALSO took me for a boy...hilarious times...

I'm also into makeup and wigs, so I enjoy going from a male look some days, and a female look on others. I have a great time. (:

So there was this guy who was dared to dress like a girl for one day and he did. No he did not just put on a wig and a dress, he got long luscious weve, a dress with built in padding, a filled in bra, shaved his legs and wore fishnets with red heals... He wins an award in my book!

Now wouldn't that be a picture? This tanned, slightly overweight, BEARDED sailor, in a dress. It makes me shudder to even think about it. euuuuuuu

Yes but not in public.. I love the androgynous look but I also think it would be fun to pass for a boy, I just don't have the confidence for it..
