Have you ever heard of lebanon?

I frequently get asked where I'm from, probably because I look a bit foreign and whenever I answer they tell me they've never heard of Lebanon before. I don't blame them, its a pretty tiny country between Syria and Palestine but I just wanted to know if no one really knows about it.

        • I like the claws but the tails just taste like shrimp to me. Ever tried Dungeness or snow crab? Delish!

            • Try them with salted and spiced garlic butter sauce, my wife's specialty. But better yet, try stone or Dungeness with the butter sauce. You'll move to southern Cali in a month.

It's tough and tasteless and used to be given to the workers because no one else wanted it. Now people buy it because they think it's supposed to be some kind of delicacy.

It’s small, so people really don’t notice the country, especially in the Middle East. Most people are used to the geography of Europe or Asia or the Americas.

There was a TV show where a man was hitting on a woman. The woman says "You're not my type." The man says "Oh yeah? What's your type?" Someone else whispers something to the man. Then the mans says "What do I care if she's Lebanese?

Depends who your asking, some countries, not naming names...are not as good at geographic stuff. hey can't really blame them, some schools learn more about geography than others.
