Have you ever turned on your safe mode? why if you say yes.

As some of you know or for those who do not we have a safe mode button. The safe mode button will if on filter the posts and give you what is safe. When it is off they simply let you view everything. Have you ever used this button? If so why? If not how come?

When I first joined it somehow defaulted to “safe mode” and I did not notice. I saw complaints about some of the subject matter but didn’t realize I was censoring myself. I didn’t see any problems with the content. And then I found the little button and it opened my eyes to a whole different side of IIN.

And on that day, my innocence was lost.

Turning it off is the first thing I do when I come to this site.
Then I leave it off.

I once tried turning it back on in the 'Best Of' section so that I could see if the not-so-fucked-up stories were any funnier than all the inappropriate ones burying them. (You don't see the 'clean' stories otherwise)

I would prefer to have it off, actually, but I got sick of always having to turn it off. I wish there was a way to set the default to off instead of on.

It's on by default and I turn it off every freaking time I come here. Seriously, why can't re same that setting with my account?

It doesn't actually seem to do much, but I turn it off anyway, on general principle.

What?! I didn't know there was one! How do I know if it's not on right now?! I'm on my iPhone by the way. And not using the application for it. But the website version for the mobile. Either way, I'd like the safe mode option off. What fun is it?

On the app, I don't have it on safe mode. But on the desktop version, I keep forgetting that its there and I'm yet to turn it off.
