I really would want to go back to Roman times and see what life was like.
Might be difficult to get an audience with given his constant incarceration.

The other day I was listening to a podcast that did the Ignatian exercise 'Imagine what you would say to Jesus if you were standing in the shoes of...'.
I think I would just abandon the script and cry.

I would like to see certain bits of my childhood as 'adult me', plus the things that were happening around me and were kept out of my earshot - just for confirmation.
I also wouldn't mind seeing bits of my parents' and grandparents' lives from before I was born.

Yes! It would be amazing to live in a time of steam engines, just beyond the horses and carriages. If i was rich at that time it would be the best.
Honestly the history we have just kinda sugar coats the fact that it's only very recently that a common person has a good life not working 14 hours a day and having a decent chance of starving to death if a crop failed.
I'd want to experience what life was like in the trenches of the western front of WW1. I've always found that shit creepy as hell.
I'd love to go back in time to explore what my hometown looked like before it became a run down piece of crap. There are Before and After pictures of it online and the Before pictures are beautiful. XD
I definitely wouldn't pass down the opportunity. I wouldn't go out of my way to try it due my streak of bad luck.
