I already had it so what's the point. Plus I'm not too keen on injecting something that's not FDA approved.

I dont have much faith in the FDA. Theyre trying to fuck me over. They've been spending millions to lobby politicians to ban this safe alternative to methadone called kratom. Its a leaf from a certain coffee tree. It doesnt get you high and when you drink it it takes all opioid withdrawals away. Fortunately theres kratom lobbying companies that have been better at swaying politicians to not ban it against FDA advice. Then you look into guy that runs the FDA and you see he was the CEO of a major pharmaceutical company that manufactures opioid pills! That was his job before he was made the head of the FDA by Trump.

They look after corporations they dont care about peoples well being. Its so corrupt Even if the vaccine was safe and wasnt made by one of their companies they wont approve it. Its corrupt as hell how they do things. I dont care to take the vaccine but I have 0 faith in the FDA

I have some possible longterm covid-symptoms and the experts arent sure its a good idea to get vaccinated if you do so no. Not that it's even available here yet though other than to risk groups.

No and not planning to ever take it. I don't trust the evil entities and individuals who released the lab-made virus and then are conveniently rolling out this harmful substance meant for population control.
No, covid is not just BS, it's human made and a crime against humanity, but there's no one to investigate it since the likely perps is the deep state behind the US and it's grey cardinal Bill Gates. The vaccines are likely bad as well. Biological weapons of the illuminati against humanity

I voted, "vaccine is bullshit just like covid".

It's not just about us and our own personal health; it's about everyone else too, including the more vulnerable people we could pass covid onto.

And besides, it's the only really effective way of controlling the virus. All that social distancing, lockdowns and mask-wearing do is slow down its spread so that hospital intensive care units won't get overwhelmed with covid patients in severe respiratory distress. As it is, hospitals are so saturated with covid cases that in the UK it's extremely difficult to get treatment for anything else, including things like cancer. That can't be allowed to go on. And every time we go into lockdown, businesses go bust, livelihoods are destroyed, domestic violence worsens, children don't get educated, and addicts of all stripes are left alone with their addictions.

Even in the highly unlikely event that vaccines SHOULD have negative side effects, I'll take them if it contributes to saving families from going destitute or women from being beaten to death, and if it means we can all have a national health system that's functional for anything except covid.

If you are stuck with an abusive partner, they'd probably abuse you even without a lockdown. Such sad incidents have always happened before pandemics. You are not identifying the actual root of the problem and the actual solution. I've not heard of any country closing hotlines and police service due to covid and any person could sure go out in order to seek help. That would be an excuse to break a curfew, as you can imagine.

Pragmatically speaking it is harder for anyone to distance themselves from or mitigate the extent of domestic abuse, while they are stuck at home with their abuser. I've done some research on this and there are actually many steps that need to be taken in order to escape safely, and some of them depend on places being open, and having multiple options in case one doesn't work...

              -
            • nopurpose

Yeah, if the victim is trying to cover up the abuse while escaping. They'll make it harder for themselves than it shall be. The safest way would be to call emergency on loudspeaker - before it's too late. Some ppl will always rather find excuses than do what they actually need to do.
What's the difference if there's no lockdown? You are at work during daytime and take abuse only in evenings and weekends. But it's not measured in time rather in events. Which could happen any time. What else - the local 24/7 working fast food is closed so you can't run there. Is it there where one shall actually run? In abusive relationships, the victim's behaviour to a large part facilitates them. That's the real problem they have - that they will stay with someone beating them, no matter if they are in or off work and if the closest McDonalds is open or not.

Firstly let me tell you that is bullshit. Since covid they have been denying care to new patients, anyone with preexisting conditions and those very prone to respiratory illnesses. As well as that have shut down several programs to prevent homelessness and suicide. They have focused all care on covid cases while neglecting all those who are likely dying from it. When I can't go to the urgent care for chronic respiratory problems because they care about this man made disease. That is a sign they want anyone with respiratory issues to die. Do not fool yourself into thinking they give a shit about anyone. I have been tested for covid 14 times and came back negitive. The fact I am refused medical care because every hospital is terrified of covid is fucking ridiculous. If the doctors refuse to help me with my prexisting conditions I am not going to bother with these people for anything.

No, in practice I agree too. I agree in principle, I just didn't like the way it was put into words, that's all. I really don't like religious expletives and didn't want to be picky about it like some kind of moral police, but at the same time, I didn't want to act like I endorsed them myself.

No fucking way. I'll kill myself before getting that shit anywhere near me. I have EXTREME tomophobia and I feel like passing out and nauseated even at the mere mention of medical procedures. So no. Plus it's not a tried and true vaccine, it's an experiment. People are dropping like flies from it and the media lies and says it has nothing to do with the vaccine.

I'm vaccinated. First dose in February, second in March. Around that time, it was hard to get. I got lucky because at my job at one of the meetings, one of the managers told us that they were working with a nearby medical place to get us vaccinated. They only managed to secure enough vaccines for 40 people, so it was first come first serve for signing up. Since there was only about 40 people who showed up that day due to a snowstorm, everyone that actually showed up that day got an appointment to be vaccinated. We also got paid for getting vaccinated.

Yes. Both doses. It is the responsible thing to do. You wanna put this thing behind us by next year, get your shot. It's as simple as booking an appointment, getting a quick needle in your arm, and waiting fifteen minutes in case of allergic reactions.

Never thought I'd live to see a day when so many refuse medicine and basic science. People, even if you already had the virus, even if you are asymptomatic, you can easily spread it to someone who will get it worse. They don't deserve to die, and you don't need to be responsible for it happening. We need to stop thinking about 'ME' and remember the person sitting or standing beside us. I am pleading with all of you: put your pride down and get your shot.
