Having habits that create habits

I've got a really bad habit of creating more habits!!
It's mad... I get myself a good honest habit, one that's no danger to me or others... And I just start another one!! No reason at all... It's a good job I can multitask because I'm making a habit out of that!!

    The magic behind habits is that they reduce the willpower required to do something. It's why experienced lifters go to the gym as regularly as they do, and why new lifters struggle.

    Willpower is like a pool that refreshes every morning, one that is very, very difficult to increase. It's far more effective to reduce the willpower costs by making use of habits.

    I don't have a goal of a sixpack or 10% bodyfat, but I do have a habit of counting my calories and eating only from 1pm-8pm. I also don't have any junkfood in my house—temptations reduce your willpower.

    For self-improvement, creating good habits is the best thing you can do.

    Habits can be good if you get into the habit of a good habit and not too many bad habits. Habits are relaxing, soothing - familiar. I like habits.
