He puts football before me! does your bf/gf put something before you?

My boyfriend loves football. Nfl, college, whatever. You name it, he watches it. You might be saying "get over it, stupid girl, it's only on Sunday," and oh how I wish you were right! No, it's all day on Sunday, plus Monday night, plus Thursday night, plus he watches all the pre and post game shows. and, what he doesn't get a chance to watch when he is working, he records and watches on other nights. And when his team wins he watches the same recorded game over and over all week.. analyzing it and whatever. I get that it's his passion. I knew going into the relationship (2 years ago by the way). It just annoys me a lot sometimes. He's sleeping on the couch tonight because he couldn't even stop watching a stupid game to help me carry in the groceries or ask how my day at work was. Am I alone? Do your boyfriends or girlfriends put anything before you?

    My boyfriend doesn't put anything before me, I mean he will play video games but he would never do that instead of seeing me.

    Seems like he is a bit obsessed. Try wearing skimpy outfits around him during the games and try to seduce him or something.

    Wow... Maybe you should leave the guy. It's obvious that his only love in life is the fooball!
    I mean, watching some sports is ok, but what you said is down right messed up!

    I mean, I play videogames, but I always help my girlfriend arround the house. I spend most time with her. She is first on the importance list. Most times I play videogames when she watches some boring TV show that I don't watch.
    And luckily she does the same thing. The only thing I don't like is that she takes forever to get ready for a night out, or even a pop to the market. She is very pretty and I tell her she doesn't need to spend 2 hours of prettying up to go to the market, but she ignores my advice :D

    But hey, can't blame her. Women thing.
