Help i am sexually attracted to my step daughter

My step daughter is 12 and she and her dad were once close when she was younger. Now he hardly spends any time with her or talks to her. Now she is a little boy crazy and she seems to chase them and accept anything as a boyfriend, even web dates whom she has never seen. She seems to fall in love easily and often.

Now it seems she is more sexually aware. I am not sure, but I think she sees me as a sexual being and its messing with my head because there is an attraction between us that is more sexual than conventional. We are close and we talk about her so called "boyfriends" all the time. But sometimes she does things in front of me that could be seen as sexual and then glances at my groin area to see if I am aroused, and I admit that sometimes I am because she is well developed and I love her but the two are getting mixed up and so am I.

I would never actually do anything sexual with her for fear of hurting her mother and our family, but my fantasy bothers me and I want to help her channel her sexual energy to a more positive end. How do I do this.

    "I would never actually do anything sexual." Good - now stop, look and see if there are any real subtle signs that you are already getting sexual with your step-daughter. Like getting aroused (an erection?) in her presence.

    I think you need to steer away far from her and come to your senses. Set some clear physical and emotional boundaries. Physically - break it off - keep away from her for awhile. Emotionally - cool the chumminess & refer the boyfriend talk to her Mom. Do this gently, but do it.

    If you think you are confused - as an adult - imagine how she feels - and she already has boy/father issues.

    The counseling idea above is a very good one. I think you are well intentioned, but have found yourself overwhelmed with feelings that are inappropriate & you didn't expect to have.

    seems that you need to remember her age and the fact that her mental maturity is not there yet. also thought is you need to seek help and she needs to talk to someone other than you

    it might be difficult sometimes, but keep it the way it is now and don't do anything sexually with her. This stage she's in will probably end when she grows up some more or gets a real boyfriend. I think it's very brave of you to post this story online. It must be really complicated being attracted to young girls.

    Please believe me, I'm not being judgmental. But go to a counselor before this goes too far. Even though counseling didn't help my first marriage, it did help ME. And it turned out GREAT!

    I hope this helps: theres this thing that most kids go through called the oedipus complex. If uve ever read the plays u might kinda understand, but the basic idea is that at a certian age a kid will want to sleep with their oppisote sex parent and possibly kill their same sex parent (weird, but true). This is a phase that most kids go through at some point. As for u tho, control ur urges until this phase passes for her.

    Don't listen to these trolls. You're attracted to her because she's attractive. Nothing wrong with that at all. Doesn't mean you should have sex with her. Imagine that instead of step daughter, you were attracted to her mom's sister. I would hope that just because the woman was "of age", you would still choose to be faithful to your woman. The biggest problem is how flirty you are being behind your girls back. Cut that shit out. And don't beat yourself up because you find a good looking girl good looking. If she's sexy, she's sexy. You can't help that she grew into her body early. Stop monkeying around behind your girls back, and that other problem will take care of itself.

      one word...IDIOT!! Pedophilia refers to having a sexual PREFERENCE to prepubescent girls (10 years or younger). Hebephilia refers to having a sexual PREFERENCE to pubescent girls (11-14). Many countries set the legal age to 12, 13, 14 years old. It's human nature for a man to be attracted to a sexually developed girl.     Im in the same situation with my 15 year old step daughter, but you cant go there. she is flirtatious because she loves you and she feels your love for her but she cant handle you doing things to her. try panty stiffing and masturbation.     Are you nuts?! RUN! Get help, seriously. If I was married to jwp8432(39440)I'd be extremely angry and disgusted. Not only would I make sure he was out of my home and away from my CHILD, I'd alert the authorities as well! Can you spell divorce?! Some things are off limits to discuss with your minor children or stepchildren. This is one of them. Please seek help before you do something that'll wreck everyone's lives.
