Hod do i get rid of butt smell?

When I wake up in the morning my stomach will hurt and then I immediately have to go to the bathroom. I'll usually go like two times and rarely three times in the morning. Sometimes I'll still feel like I have to go to the bathroom again but then when I try I can't. My stool is inconsistent. For some time it was quite loose but every so often it'll become hard. My anus will sometimes hurt when I'm going and after I'm done. Once I finish pooping I'll wipe with toilet paper and then with baby wipes and I'll still smell. I've even tried showering and the smell won't go away. I went to the doctor and they did a stool, blood, and urine test and they were all fine. The doctor said it was all in my head. My parents don't think I smell either. But I can smell it and people at school are always sniffing and saying how it smells like ass. I don't know why this is happening to me. I went to the gynecologist recently and they said I had Bacterial Vaginosis so could that be it? I already took medication for that but the smell persists. While I still have discharge I still think that the smell is coming from my butt. It's so embarrassing please help me. I've even started putting powder deodorant for vaginas near my anus. I can't continue feeling this anxious and sad at school because of my smell

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

bacterial vaginosis smell awful. its a growth of putrid abnormal bacteria inside the vagina vault called Gardernella vaginosis . its not an STD although having sex can contribute to getting it. Doctor prescribe Flagyl to cure it. but it will come back at any time with or without sex. your doctor doesn't seem all that smart because he has not educated you on this medical condition. your gynecologist is who you need to see and not the other quack that thinks you are mental when you have a superficial infection. BTW i have looked at the juices of over 30,000 women. not pussy, just the juices. i get those plastic tubes. what ? you dont think a doctor is trained to look do you?

My pediatrician said I was fine and I think the only reason he sent me to the psychologist is because I was really upset and began to cry. I made an appointment with the gynecologist since I still didn't feel fine and I was put on Flagyl. While my discharge lessened I still have it. I still smell which is what frustrates me

go to an emergency room, complain of vaginal burning. you will get a pelvic exam, and vaginal saline wash for a gonorrhea/chlamydia test, and a microscopic exam to look for yeast, bacterial vaginosis, gonorrhea, and Trichomonas, lost pinworms(i have reported seeing those). Call your hospital first to make sure the have microbiologist in the laboratory as many hospitals shut down that department and told doctors they would have to learn to practice medicine without the service. you are a child and i feel so sorry for you , i can see why it would be normal to cry at your age and under those circumstances. your pediatrician must have terrible bedside skills not to appreciate the circumstance. there exist many reasons why Flagyl would not effect a cure . as Flagyl targets anaerobic bacteria only and gardnerella is a not the target , but usually killing the anaerobes bacteria rids the vagina of gardnerella because they have a symbiotic relationship.
your doctor was probably told this years ago and forgot. And that is why a saline washing would be so beneficial to access treatment efficiency. Old microbiologist have a saying i will share with you. " the nose knows"

Does it always smell? Does it get worse when you are under stress?
Do people at school know it's a concern of yours? Sometimes when people know you're afraid or concerned about something they will use it as a way to tease you.

PS-Baby wipes can actually cause rectal irritation because they contain alcohol and dry out sensitive skin. I once had a problem because I was overly concerned with being clean. You could try using a product called Balneol or a store-brand version of it to clean your rectal area. It will also soothe any soreness or itching.

I feel like I smell all day, but I think that does stress makes the scent worse. No one is class has told me directly that I smell but I've overheard people saying that it was me (I wear earbuds during class so they don't know that I know). So whenever I'm in that class I am extremely anxious. Thank you so much for giving me all these tips because it's made me a nervous wreck

I'm not a doctor and it's hard to give truly accurate info over the internet but. . .My own experience is that I have been diagnosed with panic/anxiety disorder from about the age of 12 or 13. I too had, and not so often still occasionally have stomach problems from anxiety. I sometimes become overly concerned with hygiene and smell. Dr's and family say I have no odor. When I am stressed the concern of odor increases and I can begin to sweat profusely. A few things I've learned. . . studies show stress and anxiety can amplify your sense of smell making otherwise neutral scents seem unpleasant. The 2nd thing I've learned is there is a disorder called Olfactory Reference Syndrome which I need to explore more to see if I have it. People have a persistent false belief and preoccupation with the idea of emitting abnormal body odors which the patient fears are foul and offensive to other individuals. 3rd-There could is something called Trimethylaminuria, or TMAU for short. I will let you google info on it. There are many things that may be causing your problem but you need to speak to your parents and your doctor to help narrow down the source. I feel for you. It's not easy and can be very embarrassing to discuss with anyone. I wish you well and never forget "Whatever your problem you are not alone. Someone somewhere also shares your concerns."
