Are you REALLY laughing when you type in 'lol' or are you just sitting there with the most blank facial expression ever? Do you type in certain abbreviations or whatever when you are laughing and have certain abbreviations when you're not?

I stoped writting it. Unless something is really funny, I'll write it. I stick to haha, short laugh that isn't loud.
LOL is when I laugh out loud, lol if amused, ^__^ feeling cheerful, the cringiest moments are when I actually say lol out loud =.=
I can't stand 'lol' or any of the rest of them...it's taken me years to stop feeling revulsion at it (over reaction, yes, possibly. I don't care) but I still cringe at it internally.
If I say 'haha' in chat or text, it usually is accompanied by a real life laugh or at least a snort/smile, because I have found it amusing. 'Ha ha...' is more for sarcasm.
I once had a video chat with a friend who always 'lol'-ed...and I found it incredibly creepy to discover that when he typed it, he was really sitting there staring at the screen with a half angry glare. That's just his typing face...I guess.
Hahahahahahahaha means I'm laughing.
Lol means I might have smiled. Or the situations a bit ironic. Or I just don't know what to say.
LOL means it's funny and I laughed inside xD
usually yes if i put it in capatals, small letters if i thought it was a good joke and maybe have a smile, but mostly it's sarcastic or obligatory

lol = not laughing at all but i think what the other person said is cute/funny

lmao = actually laughing
jajaja = laughing so hard im wheezing
rofl = laughing so hard im actually in pain
lol is to acknowledge a joke or to be polite and lmao or hahaha is where im really laughing. or i make a point of actually explaining that i 'literlly just loled'
lol means I'm not laughing but acknowledging the fact that the other person made a joke. LOL I'm actually laughing...
If I really LOL then I write "Actual LOL". If I just write LOL I may go "Hm" in real life or just smile.
For me LOL is usually a small chuckle. Perhaps I'll laugh for real, perhaps not.
ROFL usually means I'm really laughing.

If I laughed off loud so many times as I type LoL, I would be the happiest man on earth! ... LoL.
I just type LoL because it is so easy to type.
When I smile, I say: lol
When I am laughing out Loud, I type XD, xD, hahahaha.
When I smile and slightly laugh, I type: hehe
When I am acting horny, and or, think about something 'silly', I type: =P
When I am amused, I type: ^_^
There are many ways to laugh on chats and or daily conversations. It seems really childly when we type lol or ^_^, but really it makes things more bright.

It makes a difference.
