I've had a fair share of dates and GF's but not in a long time now. And tbh... With girls I did get with It just sort of happened. But now I'm tired of waiting around and thinking of actually putting some effort in to picking up a girl. But I've never taken that approach before.
How do you pick up on a girl? Its so daunting, but I'm only getting older, I can't let my true love slip away, I need to say something! But what? How?
Say "would you like to go out for coffee with me?" or whatever else you think she might like to do. Keep it simple
Don’t use any cheesy chat up lines. Just be natural and start a conversation. If a simple chat is going well then ask her if she would like to meet up for a drink or something. Or if you know or have just found out you have a common interest in something, then see if she wants to engage together in an activity related to that interest.
I disagree. since you only have about 27 seconds to leave a good first impression. With that in mind a pickup line can be used to intrigue someone enough that they begin that they begin to recoporate your interest and initiate the conversation. In other words a pickup line is suppose to be intriguing and captivating. While their are a lot of cringy pickup lines, there are a lot that are not suppose to be that way. But, who knows I'm just a guy on the inter webs, at the end of the day it's all about being genuine.
As a woman I have been on the receiving end of loads of cheesy pick up lines in my younger years. My general reaction was to consider the guy to be just another looser who needs crap chat up lines because he doesn’t have anything interesting to say. But as you say ‘who knows’ after all I’m just a girl who’s heard more chat up lines that I wanted to hear!
Ask them if they'd like to get coffee. If they are physically attracted to you they will likely say yes. If they say no there are many reasons why they may turn you down and just keep moving on. On the date ask about what they're passionate about and then listen to them. Be curious.
When my ex asked me out for that first time he walked up to me was like hey, I was wondering would you like to get breakfast tonight after work? (I fucking love breakfast! Like omg I could it eat all day)
I agree with olderdude. Talk to her, find common interests and it’ll come naturally. Maybe it’s a museum, or a concert.
The best technique is just to be a decent guy who is interested in learning about their beliefs and goals... and letting the girl ask you out...
No... Just showing people that I care about them as a person. That their dreams and goals are important.
Most people (including people you date) are looking for people who treat them as a person (and not just a recreational activity) and are willing to support their dreams and goals.
Tell her:
Are You a camera? Because every time I look at you I smile! (or something to that effect)
If that doesn't pan out thank her for her time then move on to the next girl, rinse and repeat. You don't have to listen to me this is just how I do it.

I was shocked by the majority of girls who didnt know that that meant. California certainly does put much stock into their schools now a day.
