I’ve been reflecting on how this year has gone for me in regards to last.
I think last year was better, I had more money and better relationships with people I care about. This year has been a bit rough, but I start my internship in 2020 and I think that will turn my life around for the better again!
Well considering that the entire month of April will be 4-20 it can't be all that bad.
I'm mixed when it comes to 2020
The good is that 2020 is the year of the Rat in the Chinese zodiac. I was also born during a "rat" year. Also maybe Trump will get replaced by a new, more serious president. I just can't take him seriously.
The bad has a lot to do with YouTube and the FTC in regards to Coppa. It's uncertain whether a majority of Youtubers are quitting or not. Also my birthday lands on a Wednesday, which is usually when I have bad days. I would say about 85% of Wednesday's are rough for me.
One thing is for sure, I can't wait to get out of 2019! This year has been the worst emotional roller coaster, so I have hope 2020 can at least throw me a bone.

It's been overall pretty boring. Had 2 major great things that happened and put my life on the right track for getting closer to my dream but the people i've met has been temporary and one of them a major creep on top of that. Lost a friend in early January. I think the people around you makes the biggest difference for how you feel about life so I hope for 2020 to be more fun and i'm looking forward to it.
The 2020's will be roaring for Nicole Claire. It's my time to shine. Nothing but good things. Yay.

I'm looking forward to the next year. Why? Because it's not only a new year, it's a new decade and thus, in my opinion, new years 2020 is more important than usual. Also, the number 2020 is clearly aesthetically superior to 2019, isn't it?
Really good tbh. More newbie gains from steroids, trying tinder back home and also fet life meetings over the summer. My biggest concern is getting away with all that whole living with my parents still ugggg.

Yes I know uggg. I have my own dorm now but I have to dodge my roommate. I don't have a car now though, which I will have when I'm home for the summer.
I do think there is a workaround though. We have a back door at my house that leads into the basement. The key is hidden under a mat out there and there is a guest bedroom that is perfect! And my parents stay 2 stories up with a fan on and the door closed so I think we'd be fine sneaking in to smash. If that's not badass, I don't know what is!
So much better when you dont have to sneak in tho. Just let them spend the night

Feeling good about it. Just got a promotion at work yesterday but I'm worried about my back holding up. Trying to workout my abs because someone said that helps it.
Im feeling great about 2020.
I got out of several dead end relationships.
I got out of a dead end job.
Took a nice VA-CA.
Accepted a new carear.
Now Im stacking some savings.
This year will be nose down and savings.
I have plans, but I have to stack some cash this year.

Ill lose some ' friends ' due to crazy hours.

Feeling okay. Neither too down nor too happy. I take years as they come.
Have two major things to come in December that can either make or break my life lol. I’m going to find out if my leg can be saved or if I’m going to have to bring my amputation all the way up to my knee, and I’m planning to propose to my girlfriend in the same month.
If I lose the leg, I lose my job, and have to move 4000 kilometers back home to recover, and might as well just eat a bullet at that point.
If I get to keep it things will be good? I think?? Maybe??? Hopefully????

I initially lost half my foot to frostbite and gangrene when I was a kid, was a victim of a bad situation, not really a good story to tell if I’m being honest. But! I handled that really well up until now when I got reinjured.
Oh my gosh, I'm really sorry to hear about this, and I hope everything turns out well. Your ordeal sounds terrifying, and I will keep you in my prayers.

Yup, years and years ago, I had it chopped because of frostbite and gangrene so they left a lot of dead and damaged nerves to try to save the ankle. Had my prosthetic caught in my stirrups and got dragged over a week ago from my horse spooking and it re-fucked it up. So basically the nerves are shit.
If I’m lucky I’ll only need to get the ankle removed and some bad tissue, it’s going to fuck my range of movement and I’ll still be stuck with the pain I’ve dealt with for years. It’s a no-win situation but it is what it is
Shit that sucks man! I'm really sorry to hear that. I'm not entirely sure I understand though? What happened to your foot when your prosthetic got dragged? Did this wound your feet and now you got gangrene again?
Yeah it’s shit like this that makes me appreciate that I have a good habit of becoming blindly optimistic when my luck runs out lol.
And yeah because my ankle and lower leg was already so weak, the contortion damaged a bunch of tendons/ligaments and muscle so it’s not going to heal itself even if I nursed it to hell. And the damaged nerves are just shooting off at all times. It’s been a ticking time bomb for a long time now. No infection or anything like that, it’s just so fucked that it’s impossible to use my current prosthetic correctly because that requires my ankle to be working.
If its bad enough, and I didn’t amputate it further, it would just be booted and completely unusable so I wouldn’t even be able to use a prosthetic to support my weight.
It’s complicated to explain haha, basically there’s three ways it can go; 1 it’s not that bad and I heal up continue as usual, 2 it’s bad but I don’t get the amputation so I won’t be able to use the leg at all anymore, and 3 it’s bad and I get the amputation but I just get a more intense prosthetic that is usable.
For what it's worth, You have my respect because you sound like a rugged motherfucker. No joke. Stay positive.
