How can i workout without weights until i can afford them?

So,I'm a fitness guy sort of,I don't like to play sports or jog just for fun but I like to use my dads gym, I'm an adult though, a young one but an adult. He has everything in there you could want to start up,its actually just an old parlor but it works.I know I am gonna have to save up some money and move out eventually but its been slow cuz my towns a shitty place to look for work. When I leave I will probably have next to nothin in money and I want to know how I could improvise a good training program free of weights or make up weights or something. Now I know I could just "join a gym" but I don't care how in shape I get they idea makes me get social anxiety, and I have a clearer head bye myself, any advice would be cool because I don't want to loose what build I have to my metabolism.

Google "bodyweight" or "bodyweight exercises" and you'll get more hits than you'll ever use. Another great thing to do is go to a place called Movnat, also bodyweight, but also excellent for flexibility and what is called functional fitness.

You can't even afford weights? Jesus, you're poor. Should I set up a charity bin for you that we can throw extra cash in?

But if you can't afford weights, use small children.

I would think that the old standards are still the best. Push ups, chin ups, sit ups, squat thrusts. Get some old tires from construction equipment and flip them around. Get an ax and cut up a lot of firewood. Get a 20 pound sledge hammer and make small rocks from big boulders. The options are endless.

Resistance bands. Jugs and bottles filled with water or sand.

I'd like to recommend a book called "Solitary Fitness" it's very very interesting.

In prison, a neo Nazi who was pretty ripped, took the sink off the wall, set it on top of the 5 gallon juice canister, filled it to the appropriate weight he wanted, took the mop head off and used the stick as handles by shoving it through the handles made on top of the juice container. It was actually pretty smart cause he could do some good curls and stuff with it. And it was free.

Another thing was jogging in place or doing a push up, jumping jack and sit-up one after another, 4 times, in 4 sets was good enough for me to feel it burn and then some.
What Ive also done is what I call the lizard walk, and its when you lay on your belly, then crawl on your finger tips and toes, like a lizard walk, stretching your arms and legs as far forward as you can. The same side, at the same time. Do it back and forth, I do that until I'm winded and can't do it anymore.

That, was a long, long time ago now. However it's all the same, may not be fancy but it was free and helped me pass the time.

I have also picked up bicycle touring. So now I'm doing at least 25 miles a day on my Surly long haul Trucker, and am preparing for my next tour in the spring to the British columbia.

    Good luck to you.

    End.

(I guess I should say, the Nazi put the sink back on the wall, still not 100% sure how he did it, as I was trying not to stare and end up on a target list.)

Use your own body weight. Push ups, Sit ups. Find a low hanging branch that will support you for pull ups. This seems way too obvious.

Good question. First thing to buy is a pull-bar. I use the "perfect multi-gym" cause it won't fuck up the trim and its portable. Milk and eggs are the best cheapest form of protein.
