How do i fix my yahoo?

My old yahoo account has been compromised. It says it does not exist anymore. Which I am guessing that yahoo erased it. To make a new one I need to give them a back up already existing account. However the account that does exist was erased. I kind think it was hacked without me realizing it. I can not changed the password and when I do it does not work. I would ask tech support but yahoo tech support is busy. This is the only account backing up this account I have on this website.

I know what to do(comment) 3

Use Answers.com for the time being. It's not as good, but it doesn't take an account, so you can use it until Yahoo support is free again.

    • I checked and tech support was busy. Which really pissed me off. This happens a lot but I do not want to go to Google because I hate giving out my number. That says where you are. I do not want people to know where I am at on the internet. Why I never post it here.

Yahoo mail is good for one thing only...collecting spam. I totally agree with you that the OP should open a Google account.

This has never happened to me before and due to your situation, it seems that there's no way out of this. I would suggest that you make a account on another site like Google.

    • Yes but they ask me for my phone number. I hate giving my phone number away on the internet. I keep my phone number a secret for a reason. I do not want to be bothered.

I have a google account and while they sometimes ask for phone numbers, the request can be skipped.

The best way to end your problems with Yahoo is to stop using it. It's a known fact.
