How do i sort this out?? help!!

Hiya,

I love fantasy novels, folk music, witchcraft, etc. Love, love, love it! I'm always looking at Pagan stuff & I've even written a couple of stories myself, which i'd love to get published. I've loved all this since I was little. I'll hit the big 3-0 soon.

There's one character I made up, Macha, who's a type of sorceress/witch & also a singer, who is based on my own favourite. The young girl she rescues doesn't like her at first but she eventually likes/maybe is in love with her (it doesn't say this in the story but you can look at it both ways – excuse the pun) When anyone I know sees anything to do with any of this fantasy stuff, they're instantly reminded of me. My boyfriend is completely uninterested & calls it my “Middle Earth stuff”.

Macha has long white hair, wears funny clothes (black ritual robe, magic pouch with herbs in, etc) doesn't look her age (late 50s/early 60s) & talks in old-fashioned language ie “wouldst thou drink with me”, (as I sometimes do), sings to people with her magical voice, going higher & higher , almost screeching, whispers protective things to them, etc. I fancy Macha too, fantasise about her all the time, & would love to find another woman who is comfortable with behaving like this for me, before we, well, you know …..

Only problem is I’m severely disabled & don't know how to go about this. I know someone who could help me out (not like that, I mean finding someone to!) but I don't think they'd be allowed to. I've heard of people falling for who/what they create but this is just ridiculous .

I swear to ye (here I go again) this is 100% real.

    I love role play! Always wanted to get some sexy female armour, i'm more of a warrior type lol but like you I think it's probably a bit of an escaped because I'm very feminine n slim but feel like a warrior inside! You imagine an ethereal persona as your disability makes you feel stuck n she gives you freedom. You never know, you might meet someone with a few of the qualities your looking for and will enjoy playing your character!

    It sounds like this macha character is an escape for you from the restrictions of your disability, a fantasy version of yourself. No wonder you're in love with it. I dunno maybe you just need some other interests in your life, if its gotten to the point where its ridiculous, like you said.

    I have severe social anxiety, and so I spend a lot of time alone. I made up a a character, though I never named her. She is tall, and athletic looking with small breasts and has blue fur, as well as ears, fangs, and eyes like a cat. I grew out of her after a while, kind of a a relief since I obviously could never fulfill a fantasy like that. Although, once it begins to effect your real life, I think it starts pushing the boundaries of what is normal.

    Why don't you write a book about "Macha"? That way, to some extent, your fantasy will be able to come to life.

    Why dont you just get a russian/ukranian mail order bride? Some alrady dress like your Macha :).

    Absorbed in your own fantasy?

    I think that you might need a publisher.

    "Hiya", is not a word. 'Hi, Hello, Greetings, Salutations, Salute, Welcome', are all words.
    In your case, I would also accept, 'hollo, hallo, or halloo'.
