How do i tell my mother i want to crossdress?

My mother said she was supportive of me being gay or whatever, but I’m not sure if she’s fine with me crossdressing as the opposite gender. I am a girl, and I want to crossdress as a boy. Im scared of telling my parents about this, especially my dad. I’m too young to buy stuff for myself yet, so if I wanted to crossdress I’d have to ask my mother for that stuff.

How do I confront her about it and tell her?

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

There is always the tomboy look. But as a guys opinion, don't do the shaved hair or buzzcut. But that's up to you. Have you considered just slowly transition your attire and what you wear. When I started crossdressing I didn't even think about telling anyone. I thought I was the only guy in the world that felt like I did. But as is I started at age 13 and here it is many years later and I'm still crossdressing, even as I write this. Good luck. The good part is society is more exposed to LGBT community so they tend to be more open and accepting. But also I think the ftm are more accepted than the mtf crossdressers.

Maybe you could just wait until you're actually at the clothes store and then just pick out the stuff you'd want to wear. If your parents try and get you to try on dresses or whatever just say thanks but I'd feel more comfortable in this, and show them the clothes you like without making a big deal out of it. Worth a shot? And don't wear things that make you feel uncomfortable just to please other people, life is short.
