It's a cultural thing in the middle-east and India, to marry your cousins. Around 25-30% of all marriages in the middle-east is between first cousins. How do you feel about that? Do you think it's okay or not?

Unless you are a population that's incredibly small it's not ok. The morality is relative to the need. Since the middle east is filled with abundant genetic dispositions the need to intermarry is a 100% cultural defect. Such as nobility is prone to do.
The first generation wont be as impacted but subsequent generations will suffer more and more from in family genetic traits and mutations. So it's more of a societal regulation than anything else to keep intermarriage to a minimum to preserve the gene pool.
People should be able to do what they want, but because it'd affect the lives of their children, it shouldn't be allowed.
Ok by that line of morality the sterilization of the mentally ill including autism is ok. Because it will effect their children.
It's a slippery slope to phrase it like that.

This would be frown upon where I live. People will not see it with very good eyes.
Having a kid with a cousin gives you less risks for issues than a 40+ year old woman having a kid. But the problem isnt just 2 cousins having kids. It becomes a problem when generations and generations of cousins are having kids together and the overall population becomes more inbred over time.
