How do you pronounce the name mario?

Somenormie here yet again here but with a pointless curious question. Just thought I'd ask this question because I'm curious of others about how they pronounce the name Mario.

For me I pronounce it as MAH-REE-OW mostly because I got used to pronouncing it like that while growing up.

    I think Ny Italians say Mary-o.
    And instead of Anthony, they say Ant-Knee.
