How do you think about st. thomas university? (usa)

I'm a college student and thinking about going on for a master's degree. A teacher recommends me to choose this St. Thomas University, in Miami, a Catholic University. Here's the official site. I'm from China and have never been to the states. Really need your help,I'll be grateful.

    It does depend on what you want to study. If you aren't a Catholic or a Christian in general, then I highly recommend against going to a college that is as it could cause a lot of problems.

    Check out exchange opportunities at the University of Arkansas (www.uark.edu). It has an excellent business program, Walton College of Business (Wal-Mart),as well as a highly respected liberal arts program, primarily creative writing. It's also set in a beautiful little town in the middle of the Ozark Mountains, Fayetteville, and is filled with great and friendly people. The exchange rate with "eastern" countries is also very high at this university. A great place to get a true experience of Americana. Good Luck!

    Depends what you want to study. I work for a University and I'm insanely proud that I see the last two winners of the Nobel Prize for Physics wandering around our campus. We excel at medicine, dentistry and drama too but, on the world stage, I'd swing us a miss at economics, fashion, and some of the humanities.

    Pick your university based on its reputation in your subject, not just its reputation overall.

    What are you getting a Master's in? I've never heard of the school but I have heard of Miami, is Miami where you want to be?
