How high is your pain tolerance?

The other day I broke my elbow but didn't go to the hospital because it didn't hurt that bad. I thought I had just bruised it so I waited. When I did go yesterday, the x rays confirmed that I not only fractured it but also dislocated it . The doctors were baffled at my high pain tolerance. So, whats yours?

Very low. I can't bear the slightest pain.

It depends. I'd let Emma Watson walk on my bare balls in stilettos, but then I'd bang my fucking toe on a table and boom, I'd go down like I'd been shot.

LOW! A simple bump, and I feel like I'm dying. The pain is too intense. They say that redheads have a very low threshold to pain (my hair is reddish-brown) I guess that and my bony protrusions (it hurts the most when I bump them) are the reasons why.

Too damn high. The number of times I've been distracted and held my arm over the kettle as it boils is actually ridiculous.

Depends on what hurts. I lived with GI pain for so long that I thought it was normal. You get use to it. And I opted for no drugs during childbirth until the knife was required. I think my tolerance is pretty average though. And I don't think it makes you tough. I feel pain often, but I rarely complain about it.

broken bones don't always cause severe pain.
my aunty broke her ankle and felt no pain until after surgery to fix it.
doesn't always mean high pain tolerance, even if it sounds cool and i bet you've been telling eeeeeverybody how hard as nails you are :D

Fairly high, I was told by my neurosurgeon.

I fall asleep during hair removal (waxing and electrolysis).

I lived with plantar fasciitis for a year. Its like walking on molten metal and glass shards all day and keeps aching a few hours after you get off your feet....only to start up all over again. But no one knew I had it, gos I acted like all was normal.

Menstrual cramps make me pass out, so I'm guessing it's pretty low.

Mine must be pretty high. Sometimes I'll be working on something like a car or home project and my gf will walk up and ask why I'm bleeding. I usually hadn't even noticed I'd cut myself. And one time I hurt my wrist and spent a week thinking I could work out the sprain or jamb. Turns out I broke both main bones in my wrist.
