Let's say you have a cup with a thin layer of dried poo on the inside. You fill it with your favorite beverage, how many seconds until the poop starts dissolving into the liquid?

But it produces many questions, many, many questions.
If you shit in a toilet instead of a cup you'll never have to face such a concern.
Only as long as it takes to notice it, and clean or replace the cup.
If it's literately the only drinking vessel available (say you are in a 3rd world prison)... then you keep using the cup. But, it will clean itself up after a bit (especially if you work at cleaning it).
I'd say immediately. It's biomatter, manure, I'm pretty sure it will start dissolving into the drink as soon as it gets wet.
It takes a couple of seconds, I've experienced poop in water before, I never drank it, also it stinks, there's three types of people: people who are only good and they know it, people who enjoy bad things, then there's people who are pure evil, you happen to be by this standard at a medium level: people who enjoy bad things, I know you're good. I used to be pure evil before I got soft thinking I'm an angel because in my youth just because I was small and cute it doesn't mean I was soft, I was almost killing people before I spent 14 years, from 25 to 39 years young, learning what's good, which means drinking poop with coffee, if the poop's a thin layer it can be quite tasty.
