How long do you think you would want to live? Do you want to live as long as possible or do you think you would be ready for death at a certain age?

Until i cant live on my own. The last thing i would want is for someone to take the time to care for me. I'm not sure what age that will happen though.
Until people are too asinine for me to deal with any more. It's getting close.
Anybody who says they want to live forever, has lived a very, very, VERY sheltered existence.
If I'm rich, maybe 60 or so or until I can't get younger girls anymore. If I'm like now then the sooner I die, the better.
I always said 40 will do. I'm almost 30 now and i think i actually might do 50 now, lol.
However it all depends on my physical abilities. As long as i'm keeping myself fit and buffed and able to earn my living and enjoy life it's all good. The second I become a burden on social services (since i don't plan to have a family), it's time to pull the plug on this body. I'll get a new one in the next reincarnation.
Do some people really want to live forever? I used to think like that when I was in school. Now I'm 22 years old and I know I wouldn't like to live forever. My father died when he was 36 years old and if I had to die at that age then so be it.
If I could live to be in my 60's I will be happy. I look at my Grandmother and she is pushing 90 and she has seen so much in her lifetime. Would be cool, but for my generation, might be kinda scary to watch! :P

Well think about it, if you are having a nice, sheltered existence, nothing bad happening, and I mean really bad, not like losing a job or grandparent passing away, but you have to fight crocodiles for drinking water or put up with the local warlord exercising his right to any women in his territory and decides your 14 yr old daughter is of age, then would you want to live forever in a world like that??
I sure as hell wouldnt. Hell if I got diagnosed with cancer and started to look those walking cadavers in cancer wards I would get a bottle of whiskey, start the old car up in the garage with the door down, and let the fumes put me right to sleep.
Until recently I've always thought I've been given my ticket so I'm on this ride as far as it takes me , I'll enjoy old age and look forward to it - bc life's just so f'n hard in between.
Until lately , I'm becoming really scared of aging now. I'm dreading the thought of it infact and wanna stay as young as I can forever.I use to despise that in people but now I feel like that and want to stop it right here!
It's easy enough for elderly people to give up the will to live - so it's when I decide to give up!
