            I always assumed I was very boring to the people on this website because I'm married with children. People have a real aversion to that these days. They all seem to think that people with families are secretly very unhappy, despite the fact that for most people the opposite is true. I'm not sure where this comes from? I wonder if it's maybe to do with the infantilisation of the young generation - ie an obsession to be young and have no responsibility forever. I think life has become so difficult for most people that they don't see any worth in planning for the future and settling down. Therefore the idea of marrying and having children is so terrifying to them that they assume the only reason anyone would do it is because of pressure from the government/the man/parents/ insert vague authority figure here.

            I could be totally wrong but that's my best theory so far.
